How To Live Large While Starving Students

Send your wife flowers via email a.k.a. a picture. If you concentrate hard enough you can smell them. Yes, I have a great husband.

Dear LeeElle,

I am soooooo sorry. Apparently tongue in cheek blogs with less than literal titles are grounds for making disparaging comments about one's weight based on literal interpretations of said title. Fortunately for you, you have plenty of friends that don't feel the need to make themselves feel better about themselves by jabbing at you with "lightly" poisoned barbs. Be thankful that my pregnant wife didn't write this comment because a fount of hormone induced expletives would have flown. (And thank me for resorting to wit rather than rage because this could have been soooo much meaner--I think you know what I mean).

Heart,

Kevin

P.S. At least now you have curvaceous hips!

kevin, i think leeelle knows that i'm joking. i myself have had two children and an nothing like my pre-child self. and since i last saw her i have gained several pounds myself. and i'm her cousin, and i've known her since she was born. once upon a time, we were both stick skinny. although she is still skinnier (is that a word?) than i am.
and, we like to joke in our family. so, i'm sure that she took it with a grain of salt.

all my experiences with LeeElle include poisoned barbs. I don't know anything else.

Who would have thought Kelsey's mom would be the fountain of expletives...I for one, did not.

Terina,

You're just a mean-mean person and after years of knowing you I think LeeElle would agree.
